What makes Frankie Lou's treats different?
Every treat is baked in small batches using real, recognizable ingredients. We believe you should know exactly what you're feeding your dog, which is why we focus on simple recipes without unnecessary fillers, artificial colours, or preservatives.
Are your treats made in Canada?
Yes! Every batch is proudly baked in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Are your treats suitable for puppies?
Generally, yes! Our treats are made with simple ingredients that many puppies can enjoy. We recommend introducing any new treat gradually and always supervising your puppy while they eat.
If your puppy has specific dietary needs or health concerns, it's always best to check with your veterinarian first.
My dog has allergies. Can they still enjoy your treats?
Many dogs have food sensitivities, and we understand how important ingredient transparency is.
Every product includes a complete ingredient list so you can make an informed choice for your pup. If you're unsure which treats are best, we'd be happy to help.
Do your treats contain preservatives?
No.
We don't use artificial preservatives. Because of this, our treats should be stored according to the instructions on the package to help keep them fresh.
How should I store the treats?
Store treats in a cool, dry place in their sealed packaging.
For maximum freshness, you can also refrigerate or freeze them.
How long do the treats stay fresh?
Because our treats are made without artificial preservatives, freshness depends on proper storage.
Please refer to the best-before date on your package, and store as directed for the best quality.
Are your treats grain-free?
Not all of them.
Many of our recipes use wholesome oats because they're nutritious, easy to digest for many dogs, and provide a great texture for baking.

Can I feed these treats every day?
Absolutely!
Our treats are designed to be enjoyed as part of a balanced diet. Like all treats, they should be fed in moderation based on your dog's size, activity level, and daily calorie needs.
Where do you source your ingredients?
We carefully choose quality ingredients and prioritize fresh, wholesome foods whenever possible.
Every ingredient is selected with the same care we'd use when baking for Frankie Lou herself.
Do you offer local pickup?

Frankie Lou is the inspiration behind everything we do.
What started as one very loved little dachshund quickly became a mission to bake treats using simple, nourishing ingredients we'd feel good about feeding our own dog every day.
She's our official taste tester, quality control manager, and the heart behind the bakery. 🐾
